Custom made

McNetiq provides custom made soles for its magnets. This means that the bottom of the magnet anchor that touches the object is adapted to the wall profiles. This way we can work on the inside of a tank wall with convex magnetic soles and on the outside with concave soles. McNetiq also copies any ridges and profiles from the wall into the soles.

Weight/force ratio

Both a permanent and an electropermanent magnet have 100 kilograms of breakout force per kilogram of own weight. In other words: the load capacity of 1 kilogram of magnet is 100 kilograms. Sometimes this ratio is much more favorable. Some magnets have a load capacity of 170 kilograms per kilogram of weight. The final load capacity highly depends on the circumstances: corrosion, coating and thickness of the base material.
