Custom made

McNetiq provides custom-made soles for its magnets; This means that the bottom of the magnet anchor that touches the object is adapted to the wall profiles. This way we can work on the inside of a tank wall with convex magnetic soles and on the outside with concave soles. McNetiq also copies any ridges and profiles from the wall into the soles.

Weight/force ratio

Both a permanent and an electro-permanent magnet have 100 kilograms of breakout force per kilogram of own weight. In other words: the load capacity of 1 kilogram of a magnet is 100 kilograms. Sometimes this ratio is much more favorable. Some magnets have a load capacity of 170 kilograms per kilogram of weight. The final load capacity highly depends on the circumstances: corrosion, coating, and thickness of the base material.
